Our Environmental Responsibility
As an organization, we feel compelled to do our part to leave the environment in better shape than we found it. We track diesel displacement monthly and annually by replacing diesel consumption with cleaner-burning natural gas and propane. We have made a decision to go further and also track potential C02 emissions from natural gas and propane and build a partnership with veritree to plant a certain amount of trees per summer to not only potentially absorb this amount and more of C02 over their life span but to boost the ecosystem, including plant life, wildlife, and much more.
A Partnership in Preservation
This coming summer, we have decided to plant trees in the fire-ravaged area of the Cariboo region in British Columbia. We feel these areas are in need of our help. In partnering with veritree, we will positively impact the ecosystem each and every time we are on the job. We know veritree was the right choice because they take the time to verify trees planted, sustained growth and even go so far as to track survival percentages. We are excited about this venture and look forward to seeing the results.
